Dr. Grover embraces Integrative and Functional Medicine and has been Board Certified by the American Board of Holistic and Integrative Medicine since 2002. Our integrative therapies in-house include functional medicine, bio-identical hormone replacement, evidence-based supplementation, nutrigenomic therapies, natural skin therapies, neurofeedback, sound therapy, light therapy, and massage therapy. He enjoys working collaboratively with acupuncturists, naturopaths, chiropractors, nutritionists, mind-body providers, and other integrative/holistic providers.
Dr. Grover worked taught the integrative medicine elective at University of Colorado Family Medicine from 2000-2005, and continues to precept residents, and medical students interested in Integrative and Functional medicine. He worked alongside well-recognized acupuncturist Traditional Chinese Medicine Specialist Dr. Hongfei Lin (pictured above) for 3 years at TrueMind Center, and continues to collaborate with her and other providers that you may be seeing, or are interested in seeing.
As an Assistant Clinical Professor of Family Medicine at the University of Colorado, he continues to teach residents periodically in the office and has been involved in research recently studying the treatment of traumatic brain injury with near infrared light therapy. Two studies are pending publication. He is about half way through a book titled "Spiritual Genomics" as of February 2017. This will discuss mindful based strategies for enhancing our genome/DNA.
To gain expertise in the appropriate and safe use of supplements to treat a variety of conditions, Dr.Grover went through additional training and received board certification in Holistic/Integrative medicine, and attended conferences on Evidence Based Supplementation and modules with the Institute of Functional Medicine. His additional board certification in Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine, and additional functional medicine training provides further expertise in blending of modern and integrative therapies for his patients.
Patients have the option of enjoying the benefits of integrative medicine, or simply stay with an allopathic medicine if desired. Integrative medicine therapies are offered to broaden treatment options and to more comprehensively treat the whole person: mind, body, and spirit.
