A quick intro video by Lori Miller M.S. about our Neurofeedback Program!
Train your Brain to Happiness!
Neurointegration (an advanced neurofeedback) was selected by Dr. Grover to provide balance for your mind and body, As part of our holistic approach to the individual we have found this unique therapy to be very effective as a primary or adjunct therapy for enhancing your mental wellness. We always encourage mindful activities such as meditation, yoga, tai chi, qi gong, but also believe in using the latest technology to help you get there. This therapy is often an effective alternative to medications, or can be used in combination with medications and psychotherapy in more challenging cases. It can also be used to simply make you think more sharply, and improve focus. Well designed scientific trials have displayed clinical effectiveness of neurofeedback. The neurofeedback device we use is by Clearmind center. This device also includes photic stimulation which may help you more rapidly train your brain. We also incorporate and recommend the use of QEEG brain mapping to optimize a personalized program for you. Brain wave activity is assessed realtime, and computerized based feedback with music and LED light (photic glasses) helps your brain learn and re-establish healthy balanced brain function. Numerous conditions can be addressed including:
- Anxiety, depression, OCD
- Headaches and migraines
- Focus and impulse control; overeating
- Memory & absentmindedness, ADD, ADHD
- Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Stroke (CVA)
- Insomnia, sleep disorders
- Emotional difficulties
- Asperger's, Autism Spectrum disorders
- Chronic fatigue, brain fog, fibromyalgia, clumsiness
- Learning concerns (spelling, reading, math)
How does Neurointegration work?
During a single session, the brain is introduced to restorative brain-wave treatment, based on your symptoms. This improves brain function through positive feedback. The system offers the positive (neurofeedback) reward while the patient relaxes listening to music or watching a DVD. Metabolic changes are thought to occur during even one session. Over time, with repeated treatment sessions, most patients experience a lessening or resolution of symptoms. Treatment is non-invasive and uses no drugs or medications.

How long are treatment sessions? How many treatments would I need?
A single treatment lasts 20-50 minutes. Most patients need 6-30 training sessions for optimal results. We provide a 10% discount for pre-payment of packages of 10 or more. Please give Lori a call to discuss options and to determine a personalized plan for you.
How much is a treatment session?
Pricing is very competitive, and discounted for packages. Please call Lori to get current pricing.
What benefits for Neurointegration are available for members of the Advanced Wellness plan?
Advanced wellness program members receive a 20% discount on initial and follow-up sessions!
Should other therapies be maintained or added to neurofeedback?
Yes, if you are currently seeing a therapist or psychiatrist we recommend continuing ongoing sessions with them for your condition, and following their advise on adding medications. We will be glad to communicate with them about this therapy and your progress with your permission. This is a new therapy, and many therapists may not be aware of it. We'll be glad to provide supporting research and answer questions for you and your collaborating providers. We always encourage our patients to consider therapy when struggling with any psychiatric condition.
Do you provide any additional diagnostic testing that may be beneficial in maintaining a healthy mind?
Yes, We also provide QEEG brain mapping which can assess your global brain wave activity and give us data to select a protocol which is best for treating your condition.
Additionally, Dr. Grover will often time recommend assessing additional measures such as thyroid function, adrenal function, sex hormones, nutritional testing, and even neurotransmitter level on an individualized basis to optimize brain health. This will be a seperate medical consultation with Dr. Grover to discuss advanced lab testing. Dr. Grover may also recommend SPECT imaging in more complex cases to further evaluate your brain function.

Testimonial from J.K.-
"I worked with Lori Miller on a daily basis doing neurofeedback for the better part of a month. When we started, I was plagued by recurrent memories that caused anxiety on an almost continual basis. Although my wife was persuaded after several weeks that the neurofeedback was making a major difference, I wasn't convinced of a lasting benefit until the end of the process. At that time, something happened that was financially shocking. Ordinarily, I would have veered into a mental rehashing of similar situations along with a large amount of self-blame. I would also have imagined the various negative potential consequences, again and again ad nauseam.
While I did engage in some self-blame, there was NO anxiety. I found this shocking. Instead, after an afternoon spent in sadness and distractive activities, I found myself focused not on frightening scenarios but instead on specific things I could do to reverse my fortunes. This has continued now for 3 days. Needless to say, this kind of shift should prove quite valuable--and not just financially. It would be easy to miss such a profound change because something unwanted is just gone.
I'd also like to say that Lori is a delight to work with. She is extremely attentive to her client's welfare, caring, patient in explaining the technical aspects, and views the client as a whole person. She integrates the neurofeedback with an impressive knowledge of nutrition and diet, and weaves them together seamlessly into a prescription for self-improvement.
I think that most people would benefit from a series of sessions with Lori, and I am delighted that she has joined Dr. Fred's practice.
